    Washington Breckenridge & Malinda/Melinda Wilson Breckenridge. I notice you have James W. Breckenridge as being born in 1832 and died in 1833. I am curious where this info came from because we are descended from James William Breckenridge who is the son of Washington Breckenridge and
    Malinda/Melinda Wilson Breckenridge. He was born Sept 27, 1838 per tombstone record and family history. He is on the 1850 census with Washington (42 KY), Melinda (39 KY), Sarah (20 KY), Alexander (15 IN) and Cynthia A. (10 IN) at the age of 12 (IN). The family is living in Putnam Co, Indiana on this census.

    In 1860 James Wm (21 IN) is married and living in Boone Co, Indiana next to a George P. Wilson (19 IN) (his cousin? or brother/ adopted brother? to James' wife Hanna(h) Eliza Wright?Wilson?Sauther? 18 VA) and George's wife Catherine (20 IN). On the 1870 & 1880 censuses James Wm, Hanna(h) and family are living in Parke Co, IN. They left Indiana by covered wagon on Sept 12, 1880 and arrived in Wheatland, Missouri on Oct 3, 1880 per a written record by one of the daughters. They spent the winter there then moved to the "Holland Farm" in Henry Co, Missouri. James Wm.died on July 3, 1910 and is buried in the Brown Cemetery (on private property) near Tebo township, Henry Co, MO. Family history gives James Wm & Hanna(h)'s marriage date as Oct 27, 1859 and place of marriage as "Crawfsville" (Crawfordville?) IN altho we have been unable to find a marriage record to this date.

    Son, James Breckenridge is also mentioned in Washington Breckenridge's will.
