Ivan J. "Bob" Mudd, age 101 of Beauxart Gardens, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Cypress Glen in Port Arthur, Texas.

Bob was born September 10, 1910 in Johnson Bayou, Louisiana to John D. Mudd and Odeal LeBouef Mudd.

He was a resident of Beauxart Gardens for 45 years and retired from Fina Refinery as a dockman after 39 years of service. He was also a U.S. Army World War II veteran and was decorated with the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Silver Star Medal, Bronze Arrowhead and Victory Medal.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene "Jenie" Mudd, and brother, Douglas Earl Mudd.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Military services will be at 2pm Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas with Deacon Dallas Broussard officiating.

Earl Douglas "Doug" Mudd, Sr., 90, of Groves passed away Friday, March 26, 2004 at his residence in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of friends will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A native of Johnson Bayou, Louisiana, Mr. Mudd had lived in the Groves area for most of his life and in Colmesneil for 29 years. He was a retired supervisor for Atlantic Richfield. James Wesley Minner, of Port Arthur, passed away Sunday at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.

Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, to James and Willie Minner, the family moved to Port Arthur, Texas and soon after his mother died. He was raised by his loving stepmother, Amelia Mudd Minner and lived in Port Arthur for the rest of his life.

He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1935 where he was a proud member of the Yellow Jacket Varsity football team. He earned a football scholarship to Southwestern University in Lafayette, Louisiana.

He returned to Port Arthur to work for Gulf States Utilities. He retired after 40 years as a supervisor. He was an active member of St. Catherine's Church and a Fourth Degree Knight's of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ella Mae Minner, and daughter, Sue Ellen Minner.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, nieces; nephew; cousins and godchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial held at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Reverend Kevin Badeaux officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
