    [There was an earlier grant to a Thomas Pratt in Culpeper Co. for 216 acres bearing date 11 August 1766, which may have been the Thomas father of Sally; however, there is a Thomas Pratt, age over 45, enumerated in the 1820 Culpepper Co. census, so the evidence here is not conclusive.]

    Possibly a daughter of the Thomas Pratt who was granted 150 acres of land on the branches of the south fork of Rockfish River in Amherst County, Virginia in 1792 [the online image for this grant shows that Pratt already owned land contiguous to this new grant]. This Thomas may in turn be the same as he granted 400 acres of land in Culpepper Co. in 1766.
