At last try to write you few lines so hard for me to get started shake so bad eye sight bad I have to get me some glasses trying to save little [long] I don't no what they will cost me have had so many dark days never seen so much Gloomy wiher if I dont get them pirty soon wont be able to see at all. I sure get Blue discouraged if I could go back things be so different to day will can't be my will what did you Rose and that Rex hire for Christmas and you expected to be lost sure was surprised to get it Rose cake fine we sure enjoyed all you sent Thanks I thought off Chrismases that gone bye when i could off sent Presents Just didnt do it I have so many bad Christmas my you aright had some celbration Christmas Anniversary Birth day all to gether like too been their help celbrate we hd nice Chistmas tree I didnt feel well enough (worried) two take any interest in Christmas I havent been out of the house in year only just out the yard I am going to try get my I am better walking better just think I have been here two years been awfull nice to me.
Will inregard to the picture you spoke of. Between 1932 and 1934 granddaughter Florella Marie Crutcher and husband Earl Henry and family moved from their home on North Oxford to 1233 Congress. Florella Marie died there as a widow in 1950, after which their son Donald and his wife were living there. The address where Flora lived must have been 1233 instead of 1133.
1233 is between Elmira and Barnes streets.

Moyer, Beaumont, Texas; sister of George Breckenridge, Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandmother of Mrs. Earl Henry, passed away May 27. Friends may call at Blasengym Chapel, 2229 Shelby st., after 12 o'clock Sunday. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment New Crown cemetery.

comment: I contacted Indiana State Library 2 or 3 weeks ago with the request that they look for an obit for Flora (my great-grandmother). A follow up call a few days later, and then a week or some days went by and then the lady called to say she found it. Great! She mailed it, and then another week to get here. It came in the mail "today" Friday, May 27, 2011. What is so awesome about this is Flora died on Friday, May 27, 1938! How amazingly cool is that!
