    Thomas and Deborah Welch moved back to TN and settled in Cumberland Co. near Crossville. During the Civil War (1860) they moved to Louisville and Bowling Green, KY.

    Thomas's second wife, Sarah, had a son from her first marriage who accompanied them to Indian Territory in 1889 with John Thomas Welch and family.

    Died on a Tuesday. Rev. J. Wood officiated the services at Albright Cemetery.

    He was of Scoth-Irish, English -Dutch descent; small in stature and fair completion.
