Tony was born on Galveston Island September 18, 1938. He was a lifelong resident, growing up on the island, choosing to make his home in Galveston and working as a commercial fisherman, fishing the coastal waters nearby. When not out at sea, Tony enjoyed outdoors, making and working his wonderful vegetable garden and as a skilled carpenter, woodworking. But perhaps his most greatest enjoyment was the time he spent with his family. He cherished the time he had with all of his family. Tony was a very loving person, a good provider to his wife and children. His memories will live on in the hearts of those that knew him and loved him and he will be deeply missed.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Emma Milina and also one of his brothers, Vernon Milina. He leaves behind many fond memories with his loving wife of forty-two years, Dianna Milina of Galveston, Texas; his three children Mark Milina and wife, Tracy, Dawn Gregory and husband, Joseph and Nicole Valastro and husband, Sebastiano, all of Galveston, Texas; and his six grandchildren Richard Rios, Victoria Valastro, Sebastiano Valastro, Jr., Emma Milina, Sarah Milina and Jason Gregory. Sharing in his loss, too, are Tony's two sisters Catherine Crum and Jennie Gonzales and husband, Frank, of Galveston, Texas; and his brother Eugene Milina, also of Galveston, Texas. Tony is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Darlene Hernandez and Susan Milina, both of Galveston, Texas; two brothers-in-law Billy Paul Hailey and wife, Deborah of Texas City, Texas and Lee Hailey and wife, Nancy of Normangee, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, a host of other loving family and friends.
