I, Lilburne Williams of Frederick County, am bound to John Gwinn of CC in the just sum of 500 £, to be paid to th sd John Gwinn, the which payment truly to be made, I bind myself this Nov 9, 1786. Whereas Alice Hawkins, the wife of John Hawkins of Alexandria, Virginia, and Mary Williams, th wife of the afd Lilburne Williams, are daughters and coheiresses of Doctor Adam Thompson, late of Prince George' County, deed, and were seized of undivided moieties of lots #61 and 62 in Charles Town, commonly called Port Tobacco, and whereas the sd John Hawkins and Alice, his wife, have sold to the afd John Gwinn, their undivided part of the sd lots, and sd Lilburne Williams and Mary, his wife have also for a valuable consideration, sold to ad John Gwinn their undivided part of sd lots. But on account of the infancy of sd Mary, a legal conveyance of the same cannot be made by s Lelburne and Mary, his wife, to sd John Gwinn. Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if sd Lilburne Williams shall, after his wife arrives at full age when required by sd Gwinn, make Gwinn a good deed in fee simple, then the above obligation to be void.
