ODEN - At Oak Creek, Jan. 24, 1889, Mrs. Sarah Oden, aged about 90 years.
She came to Oregon in 1852 and lived two years in Marion county, and then moved to Douglas county where she lived until her death.
She had ten children, 6 boys and 4 girls. She survived her husband, jacob Oden, who was well known in this county, but two or three years.
