    Tom McClellan, 75 years of age, died at his home in the Donoho Community of Smith County, Saturday afternoon, Feb 1, 1941. Burial was made in Donoho Cemetery, Sunday afternoon with funeral services in charge of Rev. Hale and Rev. J. L. Smotherman.

    Mr. McClellan, a member of the Methodist Church, was born and reared in the community where he died and spent all of his life there except a few years when he lived at Red Boiling Springs.

    He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Meador of Red Boiling Springs, and 3 grandchildren. He came from one of the county's oldest and most prominent families.
