    Hi Debbie, As you know I'm a desc. of Thomas & Annie Johnson Court through their youngest daughter Lucretia. She married John Lane DeForest & 2nd Antonio Canavaro.

    My Grandmother keeps asking me to find VAN Court, she says she remembers him from when she was a girl, she's now 94! Anyway I did some searching & DID find a Van Albert Court, Jr. b. 1924 & died 1997 in Live Oak, TX. Found this through the social security index. Also it seems he too had a son named Van Albert Court, III. Today Granny remembered that Van Court, Sr. had married Orpha Stanley & Orpha's sister had married a Harris. Do you or anyone else here recognize these people? Thanks! Cindy

    Now, I don' t know about Van Court, but what I have in my file -- and I don' t know if you have it or not -- but I have a Bertha Stanley married to Barney " Big Bud" Courts, 12 Feb 1947 in Beaumont. Since these people are still living, I'm not posting to the site. Anyway, their kids were: Dewayne, Willie Kay, James, Barney Noah, Wanda Lucille.
    I think maybe I got this from Kirby Courts. But Barney Courts: s/o Bert Wakefield Courts, s/o Henry Clifton Courts, Sr. & Ulalaya Lena Gentz. So, maybe this will be a clue.
