2. | Mary Vandiver (1.1) was born about 1755 in Hampshire Co, West Virginia; died between 1849 and 1868. Notes:
Mary Vandiver Forman's last known connection to Hampshire County came with her inclusion in the suit brought by her brother Vincent in 1839. Her sister Catherine died, presumably without children, in 1849, and left a sizable bequest to Mary. However, Mary did not live long enough to collect it and it passed to her children in 1868 - the final settlement delayed by the disruption of the Civil War.
