Mary M Jones to her aunt and uncle, Susan Bounds and Andrew Jackson Butts, Sr., and cousins, tells of camp meeting where she, her sister Susan and her friend Aurela Seal from Victoria, brother George, and cousin John Butts (son of Susan and Andrew Jackson), John and Charlie Middleton, her cousins she says, and many others (47 total) joined the church. This would be the Christian church, pastor is her grandfather, James Lovelady. She also mentions "Grandma (Nancy Lovelady) is not well."
