Description: I'm researching Matilda Gibson, attempting to find the maiden name of her mother Ann Gibson, so It's taking me down all avenues. (Ann Gibson remarried in 1868 to William Allen) and her daughters from Robert Gibson are dispersed in different households. I notice that you have Sally Allen listed with a note that says she's only found in the 1870 census and that she's too old to be the daughter of Ann and William Allen. Could this possibly be the same person as Sally Gibson, found in the 1880 census? Still Ann's daughter, but perhaps her father was Robert Gibson, making her the sister of Matilda Gibson? I would appreciate any other info you may have about this in your notes. Thanks.
